People often ask me what happened after P-nuff Crunch appeared on Shark Tank.
Most people imagine the episode ended with celebration, champagne, and suddenly becoming a successful company.
The truth is...it was just the beginning.
Yes, my phone wouldn't stop buzzing that night. Every notification was another order coming through our website. It sounded like a slot machine that just kept paying out.
It was exciting.
It was also terrifying.
Because every "ding" meant another customer we now had to serve.
The Watch Party Ended...and Reality Began
We had gathered family and friends to watch the episode together. Seeing years of hard work finally appear on national television was an incredible feeling.
But before the show was even over, we stopped watching and started working.
How many bags did we have?
How many orders were coming in?
How fast could we ship?
Could we make enough product?
Those became the only questions that mattered.
That night, nobody slept.
Not because we were celebrating.
Because we were trying to figure out how we were going to deliver on the opportunity we had just been given.
Family Became Our Shipping Department
Over the next several days, our warehouse filled with family and friends.
People who had never worked in the food business suddenly found themselves folding boxes, printing shipping labels, taping cartons, and helping pack thousands of orders.
Without them, we couldn't have done it.
At the same time, we were trying to restart production during the middle of COVID. Some members of our manufacturing crew had been exposed and couldn't return immediately, delaying production by another week.
Imagine having more demand than you've ever dreamed of...and not being able to make product fast enough.
It was stressful.
But we kept going.

Shark Tank Didn't Make Us Successful
One thing I always like to tell people is this:
Shark Tank doesn't create successful companies.
It creates awareness.
Millions of people suddenly learn that your company exists.
That's an incredible gift.
But after that?
You're back to doing what every entrepreneur does.
You still have to earn customers.
You still have to convince supermarkets to carry your products.
You still have to figure out marketing.
You still have to raise money.
You still have to solve manufacturing problems, hire people, manage cash flow, and build a business one customer at a time.
People sometimes assume that because we were on Shark Tank, everything became easy.
I wish that were true.
The reality is that, six years later, we're still fighting every day to grow P-nuff Crunch. We're still knocking on retailers' doors. We're still trying to help more people discover us online. We're still facing many of the same challenges every startup faces.
The difference is that Shark Tank gave us a bigger stage.
What we did with that opportunity—that part was entirely up to us.
The Biggest Lesson
Looking back, the biggest lesson wasn't how many orders we received.
It was realizing that opportunities don't eliminate hard work.
They magnify it.
Shark Tank opened a door.
Walking through that door has taken years.
And we're still walking.
Every new retailer, every new customer, every new country we enter, every new product we develop—it all comes from the same daily work that existed before television cameras ever showed up.
Thank You
Whether you've been with us since Shark Tank or just discovered P-nuff Crunch last week, thank you.
Every order, every review, every email you open, and every recommendation you make to a friend helps a small business continue chasing a very big dream.
If you've enjoyed P-nuff Crunch, the biggest way you can support us isn't necessarily by buying another bag.
It's by telling one person about us.
Small businesses don't grow because of television shows.
They grow because people believe in what they're doing and share that story with others.
That's how we've been building P-nuff Crunch for the past 11 years.
One customer.
One retailer.
One conversation at a time.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of our journey.
We're incredibly grateful for your support, and we're excited for everything that's still ahead.
